Adenovirus – two types of viral disease: CAV-1 causing infectious canine hepatitis, kidney disease and ocular disease and CAV-2 causing respiratory disease. Parvovirus – highly contagious and potentially fatal viral disease primarily causing gastrointestinal disease. Parainfluenza – viral disease causing upper respiratory tract disease. |
| Leptospirosis (Canine) | Zoonotic bacterial disease most commonly affecting the liver and kidney but may also affect lungs, spleen, eyes, CNS, and genital tract. Transmission can be direct through contaminated urine, reproductive fluid, and ingestion of infected tissue, or indirect through contaminated water sources, soil, food, or materials such as bedding. |
| Bordetella (Canine) | Highly contagious bacterial disease that persistently affects the respiratory tract. Commonly referred to as kennel cough as part of the canine infectious respiratory disease complex. This disease can also affect felines.
